It may be a long way off...but if and when the former Vito's space is repurposed, I hope the "New Yawk" mural art on the side of the building will remain intact. It's been a local landmark for years, and gives that corner some charm and whimsy.
I really miss that place. That was my "go to" after work, sitting on a stool at a curbside table, enjoying a huge slice of pizza and an ice-cold tap beer. All for $8, plus a buck for the kitchen tip jar.
So happy you posed this list! Looking forward to the new places and the 'old'. We tried "Maya's" when it first open and have eaten there twice more--VERY authentic and delicious!
